Hi Patrick. Stories, news, and researched articles are all good ways to develop content. I don't think you have to try all of these, though it's always good to try to stretch yourself once in awhile. Even if you don't like writing list posts it's still a good idea to write one every so often. It can help make you a better blogger and you never know. You might end up liking something you didn't think you would.

Adam, why am I not surprised you wouldn't go for the pampering. C'mon. Imagine s beautiful woman giving you a massage as you write a post. It's not all about facials and pedicures you know.

Kristine, I knew you would be up for the spa treatment. I like the idea of Safety Friday. Tips in general make for great blog posts and I suspect the majority of posts are some kind of tip. A tip or tips taken to extreme would make for a tutorial as well.

Now if only I could make my Friday post something shorter and easier to write.

Sorry Forrest I can only help with the rejuvenation. You'll have to figure out the juvination on your own. Of course, all of these tips should work in either case and let's give credit where credit's due and thank Darren for all the tips. He certainly has experience building and maintaining a quality blog.

I'm up for the spa thing. A good massage, a facial, a nice manicure, and in between that we'll all write posts for our blogs. Could be fun.

One thing that I've found works really well for me is the idea you mentioned about tip posts. Because the blog I write is about, among other things, hunting safety, I instituted something I call "Safety Friday". Every Friday I pick a different topic and write about how to be safe. I've recently written about heat waves, sun safety, water safety, severe weather safety, and a special Friday the 13th post about how to be safe during a natural disaster.

The posts have become popular and people enjoy reading them. They also give me an assured topic for one day of the week. It's nice, because sometimes I'm all tapped out by Friday.

Good tips all around. I'll have to try some of the other ideas you mentioned.

Nuts to that. Pampering is for infants. I outgrew my diaper stage and don't want any more pampering. It's creepy.

Thanks for dropping by Darren. I like Nathania's suggestion too. Nathania, maybe you need to start a new blog, FromTheSpa.com

Funny. Now that would have been a nice trick to take everyone to a spa. Maybe I need to run a contest where the winner gets a free week at a spa. Maybe I could turn the blog into a spa. Is that possible? Could a post somehow give you a manicure?

I think you just created tip #8 - Find a spa with wireless access and write while you get pampered. I can't attest to how successful this one would be, but something tells me that if you don't come up with a good post at the salon you really won't care. It'll still have been a good day.

Aw shucks, when I saw the word "rejuvenate" in your title, i thought that going to the spa and having a facial would be one of the tips!

Actually, there is a hair salon/spa here in raleigh with free wifi! maybe i should blog from there. rejuvenation all around!
