The conversion is 0.133%

(12/9000) X 100% = 0.133 (unless my math is really, really bad)

I'm glad you liked the review. I try to be balanced in a review as hard as that might be sometimes, though I have written my share of highly opinionated reviews as well. Wow you do review a lot of BlogRush review. You weren't kidding. Do you like BlogRush?

Khalid I agree. I do think they will work out the issues, but like you think they rushed to market too soon. Some of the technical issues were probably unexpected. They couldn't test some things till launch, but it's been about 5 weeks waiting for phase2, which was initially promised in a few days.

I don't expect huge conversions, but I was thinking it would be more like a poorly converting AdSense site.

I agree Ayat. The credibility is mostly gone. That's what happens though when you create a lot of buzz and fail to perform up to that buzz. There have been many times over the last few weeks where I thought I would just remove the widget, but something keeps me from it. I wanted to at least give them the chance to get to phase2 and I had promised this post so I wanted to finally see the stats again.

I guess having the widget here doesn't really bother me. I don't think it's taking anything away from the site. If I had something else I wanted to add there the BlogRush widget would easily be replaced, but for now I'll wait and see. I'll be a little less patient waiting for the launch of the sister site. A month was mentioned so if December 1st hits and we don't see that site the little bit of credibility left will be gone.

Blogrush has lost credibility. All the hype they had when they first entered the market is only damaging them now because of the distrust and disppointment that followed the hype. You're one of the few people I know that is actually "giving" them a chance Steven! Maybe something will come out of your patience with this.

Blogrush refuses to go away. It seems that there are two problems with the service:

- technical and process issues: I think it is a matter of time before they resolve these. I think they rushed into market before having a stable product which backfired on them giving the big bang they started with.

- conversion issues: this is the bigger challenge for the service. Even if all the technical issues are resolved, a conversion ratio around 0.13 is to low to sell people on the service. I would be interested in seeing what they can do about that.

Is that 0.133% or 13.3% conversions?

And by the way, this is the best, unbiased review of BlogRush I've ever seen (and when you click on my name above, you'll see that I review a lot of BlogRush reviews.
