Yesterday Google released it’s latest search service, News Archive Search which provides for access to newspapers and magazines, and other historical archives dating back more than 200 years. Results will lead to both free and pay content on publishers websites.
Google, Domain Apps, And eBay
Despite the denials we’ve all known it was coming for awhile. Now it’s official. Google has announced that it has created a software platform for basic business activities. The free web based platform, called Google Apps for Your Domain, is made up of existing programs Google already offers, but by grouping them into a platform it’s a clear signal the company plans on competing directly with Microsoft for the office web services space.

Beginning today Google is allowing anyone with a listing at their Local Business Center to add coupons to their listing. Once added the coupon will show whenever your business is found through Google Maps.
Google To Provide Search And Advertising To MySpace
The bidding war to provide search and advertising to MySpace is over with Google emerging as the winner. The deal for MySpace search and advertising, also includes other sites owned by News Corporation, which purchased MySpace last year. Google will pay a minimum of $900 million over three and become the sole provider of search and advertising on MySpace as well as other News Corporation websites.
