Portfolio of Featured Sites
The sites below are a sampling of my work from over the years. I hope they give you an idea of my style and how that style has evolved. I typically favor a clean and simple design, though will experiment when a project calls for it.

Makela Fence
David Makela prides himself on giving more than expected to his customers and my goal was to give him a site that was more than the usual fence industry site. The site’s color scheme evolved from the planks in a deck David built and reflect the natural beauty of the wood that would eventually become his customer’s fences and other garden structures.
Bluegrass Values
The Bluegrass Values site was built with planned growth in mind. The clean design and use of tabbed navigation allow the site to incorporate new sections and pages at a later date. The development also features some playful css coding to convey the Bluegrass Mountains of Kentucky.
Andrew Macdonald, Furnituremaker, LLC.
Elegance inspired the design for Colorado furniture maker, Andrew Macdonald. A simple site stucture was used to not overshadow the images of Andrew’s custom furniture. A late design decision to use a coppery color pulled the design together.
Office Support 911
The design for this Ontario, Virtual Assistant aimed to portray the professional image associated with office work as well as letting Karen’s personality shine through.
The design was inspired by a simple report cover and the file cabinet navigation has been a big hit with everyone who visits the site.
Sean Bell Law, L.L.C.
A blend of authority and warmth was the goal for this Colorado lawyer. The cornice on the left hand side represents the lawyer in Sean while the mountains to the right help to show him as grounded and down to earth.
Services for
Seniors Alliance
This design for Services for Seniors Alliance was my first experience with acessibility issues.
