Thanks Garrett. I think everything in the post is still valid. I certainly hope so. If not I’ll blame the passage of time

I think a lot of people still only see social sites as a way to get traffic and links, but forget that they also make great places for you to interact with people and promote your brand.

A good number of my clients found me on some other site and what I said and did there convinced them to contact me. This site wasn’t necessary in landing those clients.

I’m glad you liked the post and the diagrams. I hope people see that while your web may be the central hub for your online activity it doesn’t need to be the only place where you maintain a presence.

The phrase social media could help boost their online campaign more than any traditional online marketing methods. If we see the responsibility of social media between the Digg and StumbleUpon sites, traffic to a particular website can exceed 100,000 registered users, potentially much higher. Social media should be incorporated into SEO strategies.
