		<description>Thanks Bryan. Applying some basic principles can really help your design. It&#039;s ok to break the rules though. In fact the best designs will usually break one or more of these rules at times. However they do it in a purposeful way and to break the rule successfully you usually need to understand the rule first.

A good example would be the principle of alignment. While aligning things adds professionalism if you can find a way to break alignment it can add a lot of visual interest to your design.</description>
