Ahem. I'd stick to 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week, really. Working more will require more rest and it'll eventually make it more or less even. Trying to work when overworked won't produce great results and may lead to losing the joy of working, too.

Very true. I think it's always important to love what you do. It helps keep you motivated to learn more and just makes some of the drudgery easier to deal with. And if you're going to be doing something 8, 10, 12 hours a day you may as well enjoy it.

The thing isn't just in keeping working on the site. The key here is to love what you are doing. If you love what you are doing, you will do anything and everything for your business to succeed.

When it comes to websites, you may want to check visitor stats often, scan for incoming links, new topics to add content to your site, tweak your page layout to increase conversions, etc. It is not about making money. It is about enjoying your life, really.

P.S. the point on keeping the site updated to keep the visitors is a valid one. Visitor interaction is one of the important aspects of the website.
